Nokia E75 Photos

Here are some new pictures of the Nokia E75. The Nokia E75 has a back cover with a metallic mirror feel along with a 2.4 inch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, QWERTY Keyboard, Dual keypads, HDSPA, and WiFi. The E75 is the first Nokia smartphone to feature a slide-out Qwerty keyboard and style-wise it would appear to be a sort of cross between the conventionally sliding E66 and the E90 Communicator – the latest incarnation of Nokia's long-established hinged Qwerty-keyboard business phones. The 2.5in, 320 x 240, 16m-colour screen doesn't measure up to the E90's 800 x 352 beast, but at least it has the advantage of looking like a conventional phone, and Nokia's obviously done some sterling work in keeping it relatively thin - for a keyboard slider, anyway - at 112 x 50 x 14mm. It weighs in at a respectable 139g as opposed to the E90's trouser-straining 210g.

Around the sides are a micro USB port and Micro SD memory card slot - it comes with a 4GB card to boost the phone's 50MB of on-board memory - both covered with rubberised grommets, plus camera shutter and volume buttons, a dedicated voice commands button and a 3.5mm audio jack at the top. Round the back is a lightly ridged metallic cover, similar to the one on the E66, but this time with a 3.2Mp camera with LED flash and self-portrait mirror.
The Nokia has unveiled two new series of its Eseries range devices for efficiency enhancement. An announcement to this effect was made in a statement issued here on Thursday.
It said that the Nokia E75 and Nokia E55 are the first to ship with the company’s new email user interface.
Both devices also come standard with Nokia Messaging that, when added to the company’s corporate email clients, gives people the most efficient solution for accessing the world’s consumer and corporate email on the go, the statement added.
It said that in today’s climate, the costs and benefits of technology are under closer scrutiny and email is an essential driver of efficiency and productivity.
2-nokia-e55-2“Efficiency is about doing more with less and focusing on what’s truly essential,” says Kai Oistamo, Executive Vice President at Nokia.

“With direct access to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes, companies can potentially save up to a third of their operating costs as there’s no need for middleware or additional servers.”
The statement further pointed out that with the latest Eseries devices, people will no longer need to boot up a PC to get a full desktop email experience.

Nokia N95 8Gb Reviews

Nokia N95 8GB Review : At first glance the Nokia N95 8GB camera phone has a limited amount of buttons. It gives the device its placid look. The front side caries the buttons for the menu, the multimedia menu, answering and ending a call. Directly below the monitor the buttons are found for confirming an option in the menu or to go back one step. When you slide down the slider system, the multimedia buttons appear. We find the play, stop, pause, next and previous buttons here. The Nokia N95 8GB multimedia buttons make operating the multimedia functions a child's play. When the slider system is slid up, the numeric keys appear. The numeric keys have good relief and give better tactile feedback. We can be brief about the picture quality; it is excellent. The sample photos speak for themselves. During the time we were testing the camera, we had a trip planned to the CES in Las Vegas. This was a perfect time to take the Nokia 8GB N95 with us to the States. The environments of Las Vegas are very nice to take test pictures. The camera performed well, especially in good light circumstances. The colors are bright and the captured pictures are clear. When shooting in badly lit circumstances the quality drops dramatically and we notice the shortcomings of the sensor and the pixel sensitivity. The usual shortcomings of today's mobile photography. Continue to read the full Nokia N95 8GB Test at LetsGoMobile.

It was only last week that I wrote at the end of my review of the Nokia N81 8GB that you should keep an eye open for my take on the N95 8GB. Well, if you waited, you may be pleasantly surprised; because I'd say the N95 8GB is a better device.

When I looked at the original N95 I was not overly impressed. Sure it crammed in the features, but I found the handset large, build quality less than stunning, battery life poor, GPS antenna iffy and general software running a bit slow. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

The original N95 has had several firmware upgrades since my review appeared which I understand have dealt with some of the issues. But the good news is that the N95 8GB is an all round better handset from the start. It is still a beast of a mobile weighing you down to the tune of 128g and measuring 53mm wide and 21mm thick. It is 99mm tall and when you open the slider to get at the number pad it grows to a staggering 130mm. In terms of its size and shape, then, this mobile is not for those looking for neatness - in fact it feels like a throwback to the clunky phones of yesteryear. It needs to offer a big payoff for requiring you to carry it.

The ‘dual slider' concept remains. The number pad slides out of one end, and out of the other, a bank of four buttons for controlling music playback. I wasn't bowled over by the concept last time round and it doesn't grab me much this time either, but as before, you can use these buttons to control music playback when you are in applications other than the music player, which could be handy.

fter receiving rave reviews following its initial release last year the Nokia N 95 was followed up by the exciting news concerning the impending release of the new Nokia 8GB handset, which by the way is now out. The first thing that was noticed upon seeing the Nokia 8GB was the obvious difference in the color of its case, because while the Nokia N95 was available
in plum and silver this new 8GB model is now available in a great looking matte black finish.

Also, one more very obvious feature of the Nokia 8GB is that it comes with a great movie already in it and ready to play. Its the Spider Man 3 movie and its a new marketing ploy that Nokia has implemented which worked on us by the way. The screen on the 8GB is different from the screen on the N95 in one big obvious way and that is that it is bigger on the 8GB.
The old screen on the N95 was 2.6 inches while the new screen on the 8GB is 2.8 inches, which doesn’t seem like a whole lot but the added .2 inches does make a difference when text messaging and also does mean a little less squinting when watching movies on the handset.

One thing that Nokia handset uses have been consistently asking for is more battery life and their wishes have now been answered with the 8GB. However; longer battery life also means a bigger battery and so the rear of the 8GB has been reconfigurated to make room for the larger battery.

Why don’t you try Nokia n85? It’s quite great. It has a big battery with 1200 mAh, a talk time of 6.9 hours on GSM, 4.5 hours on WCDMA and 9 hours VoIP. N85 kept the same slider form and keypad layout as its N81 predecessor. This time Nokia had offered a more stylish look to its device. A look which will definitively make all of you buy it. I don’t know you but I personally like and I’ve arrived to respect all the Nokia ell phone models. There are all sorts of models for all sorts of technology. It’s up to you what you prefer from a cell phone.
How can we find out what are the cell phone accessories which are compatible with this cell phone? Well, it’s quite easy. When you’ll buy your new cell phone the cell phone company’s operator can tell you what those cell phone accessories are or you can access a special site which is going to present you all the compatible cell phone accessories
Again, the N85's camera makes use of Carl Zeiss optics, and it features VGA resolution video capture at 30 fps, comes with a dual LED flash and autofocus. The camera integrates with the N85's on-board GPS to allow geotagging of photos, and these can be uploaded directly from the handset to the web.

Like the Nokia N96 (and N95 before it) this is a two-way slider with a numeric keypad in one direction and a set of multimedia or gaming keys in the other. The media keys change legends depending on function, a little similar to the Motorola ROKR E8 in concept.

Nokia E63 Mobile Set

The Nokia E71 was a real surprise, with Nokia managing to achieve the same excellent balance of practicality and fun that has made Blackberry phones so popular. The Nokia E63 is a slightly scaled-down version of the E71, offering slightly fewer features for a much lower cost. Although at times it does feel a little cheap, with such a small price tag, you still get great value for money. The Nokia E63 looks pretty much the same as the E71, and that isn’t a bad thing, as they both look great. They have enough little changes from the traditional Blackberry design to make them stand out from the crowd and overall the E63 is a good looking phone.

Once you get it in your hand though, you will find where some of the cost cutting has been made from the E71. Rather than the metal body of the E71, the E63 comes finished in plastic. It does feel a little lightweight and cheap, it does still sit nicely in the hand. It is a little thicker than the E71, but a gram lighter.
The real winner on the E63, like on the E71, is the QWERTY keyboard. Blackberry phones may have popularised this design on business phones, but the Nokia keyboards blow Blackberry’s out of the water in terms of ease of use.

The E63′s keyboard is is actually a slight improvement on its predecessor’s, as it is a couple of millimetres wider, with slightly larger keys.

The original wasn’t a pleasure to use, and this one is a even more so, with rounded keys of rubberised plastic offering good purchase and just the right degree of feedback.
Central to the Nokia E63′s functionality is that big QWERTY keyboard. When you combine such easy typing with the messaging brains which offer auto-correction, predictive typing and all manner of other aids to an already easy experience, you get a mean messaging package.

On top this, email setup is extremely easy. To set up push email account, all you’ll need in most cases is your email address and password and it works with most of the major email standards, including Microsoft Exchange, Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and others, though not BlackBerry Connect.

The web browser is about as good as it gets outside of sophisticated smartphone browsers. It does exactly what it needs to with a minimum of style but that makes it all the easier to use. Zooming, address bar and keyword search can all be accessed via shortcuts on the numeric keypad and there’s a useful option that breaks down web pages into sections for easy navigation.
Nokia in association with Microsoft officially launched a suite of Windows Live services on compatible Series 60 handsets in eleven countries. The suite was already available in Sweden for testing purposes, and now Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, UK, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are added to the list.
The suite enables access to Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Contacts and Windows Live Spaces.
If you live in one of the mentioned countries, you can grab it. The included Windows Live Messenger client alone is already worth the effort.
Usage will be free at first, but customers may be asked to pay a monthly fee (about €2 according to Microsoft’s Phil Holden) at some point in the future. The list of countries is expected to expand during the next couple of months and customers who purchase Nokia Series 40 handsets in 2008 will also gain access to the Windows Live services.
We’ve seen the N97 already, but apparently, Nokia has another touchscreen-enabled phone set to follow in the footsteps of the 5800 XpressMusic phone. The Nokia 6208 Classic is another touchscreen-equipped phone and features an alphanumeric keypad as well for dual-input support. It comes with a 2.8-inch TFT 240×320 pixel display, 3.2-megapixel camera, quad band GSM, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 27MB internal memory and has a modified S40 operating system that supports the touchscreen interface as opposed to the S60 5th edition found on the 5800.
Nokia E63 mobile phone : Nokia announced the latest addition to its E-Series mobile phone range, the Nokia E63, designed for people who need to manage their business and personal lives equally well. Building on the success of the Nokia E71 business mobile phone, the company's flagship messaging phone, the Nokia E63 brings the QWERTY keyboard form factor to a broader audience at a great price. The Nokia E63 mobile phone also includes Files on Ovi, a service where people can get remote access to their Personal Computer files even when their computer is offline. Anyone buying the new Nokia E63 handset will have access to 1GB of online file storage for free.

As part of its Nokia World announcements, Nokia today introduced the Nokia C7-00, a mid-range device, running Symbian^3, in a touch slab form factor. Features include a 8 megapixel EDoF camera with the ability to record HD (720p) video, a 3.5 inch AMOLED screen, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, integrated GPS and comprehensive connectivity options. The C7 will be available in Q4 at a price of €335 before taxes and subsidies.

The C7 does not quite match the specification list of the Nokia N8, but it comes close. Compared to the higher end device, it misses out on the HMDI port, has less internal memory and a lower specification camera. However, crucially, it costs significantly less. If you're looking for maximum value, while maintaining a top-end specification, the C7 is going to be a very attractive device.

Nokia C1-01 Pictures and Information

The Nokia is renowned for its manufacture of mobile phones. The company has now created a new mobile phone named C1-01. It is an impressive handset with unmatched performance. The C1-01 is a revised model of the C1-02. The features of the newly revised handset is similar to the C1-02 expect for the inclusion of the camera. It cannot be compared with the C1-00 as it has a separate feature set and design. It is available in India for a cost of Rs.3500. It includes a BL-5CB battery, an AC-3 compact charger and a stereo headset WH-102 in the package. The C1-01 will be available for sale in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Features

The C1-01 measures 108 x 45 x 14 mm in dimension. It weighs 78.8 grams only. The handset comes in a variety of colors such as Midnight Blue, Red, Warm Grey and Dark Grey. The model number is engraved at the top left corner of the handset. There is a center navigational key with two soft keys and a call and end key. It uses a TFT color display that measures 1.8 inches. The display has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and it supports 65 K colors.
The C1-01 has an Opera mini web browser with the XTML, HTML, CSS and WML supports. It also has a stereo FM radio with RDS support and supports FM recording. The handset has an internal memory of 64 MB for the storing up to 1000 contacts and also for call records. The messages menu supports SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging. The emails are supported by the POP3, IMAP and SMTP protocols. The built in audio player supports audio files with the AAC+, MP3 and WAV formats while the video player supports videos with only the H.263 format.

The camera stores images with the GIF, JPEG and BMP formats while the videos are saved in the 3GP format. The handset can perform in the speakerphone mode also. It uses vibration, MP3 and polyphonic ringtones for alert types. The handset is equipped with features such as speed dialing, conference calling and integrated speakers. The organizer has basic management applications like Clock, Calendar, Calculator, World Clock, Alarm Clock, Unit Converter, etc. It also has the voice memo feature. The C1-01 supports Class 10 GPRS of 32 kbps to 48 kbps and Bluetooth version 2.0 connectivity options.
Dual sim phones are the result of today’s technology. If you have two numbers of your own, both equally important, or one that you don’t want people to know about, then dual sim mobiles are the perfect option for you.

Dual sim phones are also the ideal option for business men who have a large clientele and got two numbers most of the time and hence need to attend to business. For now, Nokia has only announced two Dual Sim phones, which are Nokia C2-00 and Nokia C1-00, some might claim that C1-00 lacks the true purpose of dual sim phones, which is having both sims active at anytime. Before we look at these handsets in more detail, we have to say that we think that the model names indicate the mess that Nokia have made with their new naming conventions. The C1-01 is the one with the camera, the C1-02 is the one without.. although you would expect it to be the other way round from the 01 and 02 suffix. Even more confusingly, neither handset is really related to the double SIM Nokia C1-00 which is a completely different device. It seems to us that Nokia have painted themselves into a corner with these model names.
Anyway, the C1-01 is priced at €39 before tax and subsidy, and the C1-02 at €35. Apart from the camera, both these C1 models have a 1.8" 128 x 160 pixel display, a microSD slot, Bluetooth, a music player, FM radio, GPRS and a stereo wired headset in the box. Talktime is quoted as over 10 hours with a maximum 21 days standby time.
There are two dual-band versions available, depending on region. Both handsets are a very similar size, coming in at around 108 x 45 x 14mm and roughly 78 grams each (although actually the camera on the C1-01 adds 0.2mm and 1.3 grams but it's hardly a big difference).
The C1-01 should be available in two shades of grey, red and midnight blue, the C1-02 in black, dark plum, blue and cool grey.. although colours will vary by region and carrier.
These are two nice looking devices, although the model names are likely to cause some confusion when they come to market. They should be available during the final quarter of 2010.
